Itinerary
The day before your trip, your RMHC guide will meet with you to double-check you have everything you need to make your adventure as enjoyable as possible.
Day 1: We'll meet at the East Inlet Trailhead at 10am and begin our leisurely 2.3 hike to the East Inlet Campground, which is beautifully situated along a creek. We'll set up camp and spend the day enjoying the nearby wilderness.
Day 2: We'll enjoy a mountain breakfast and hot beverage and make our way to Lone Pine Lake. We'll be leaving all of our gear behind for this day hike so that we can fully enjoy everything the hike has to offer. The hike to Lone Pine Lake is approximately 3.3 miles from camp and sits at an elevation of 9,900 feet. We then have the option of hiking an additional 2 miles to Lake Verna, which sits at 10,200 feet, where we can enjoy lunch and soak our feet in the alpine water. After lunch, we'll make our way back to our campsite.
Day 3: After waking up and enjoying breakfast and coffee or tea, we'll break camp and make our way back to the trailhead.
